Santana 22

Originally introduced in the early 1960s, the Santana 22 received a well-deserved makeover in 2001. We have maintained the one-design characteristics while updating the rigging, hardware, and cosmetic features. The hull, keel, rudder, and sail plan are identical to the original boats. SANTANA 22 - SURPRISINGLY BIG, FOUR BERTH INTERIOR -The Santana 22's two-compartment cabin, with four full-length berth for family cruising, has sitting head room, plenty of locker space, and additional storage space under the bunks.

SANTANA 22 - FAST, ALL FIBERGLASS MIDGET OCEAN RACER CRUISER FROM SCHOCK -  Famous for design and construction innovations that have bred the fastest ocean sailing yachts today. The hull has been designed with a fine entrance to increase windward performance and quickly develps into a stiff midsection with a good beam aft to give a high stability factor. The shape of the cast iron keel was developed from tank test data. The spade rudder has been placed well aft for positive handling characteristics in all conditions. The Santana 22's high cambered deck gives exceptional room down below without sacrificing her pleasing lines. Windage is cut down considerably by her normal sheer and low cabin top.
