New Santana 22 Improvements

SANTANA 22 IMPROVEMENTS - With a production run that started back in 1965, you'd expect many innovations both in materials and construction techniques.

The New Santana 22, while still being completely class legal has benefited in both design and construction improvements found in all of our boats.

Some of the new Santana 22 features include:

    • a new molded in diamond pattern non skid
    • molded in toe rails on the foredeck for safety
    • flush mounted "smoked" windows
    • larger "L" shaped lazarette hatches
    • wider motor well for the new 4 stroke motors
    • molded fiberglass coamings in place of the teak.
    • A bonded hull to deck joint eliminating the need for fasteners and rubrail
    • A new and improved mast support beam that opens up the feel of the interior
    • Stainless steel chainplates

The original Santana 22 has been a rock solid performer for the past 35 years and the new Santana 22 looks to be an even better performer for the next 35 years.
