HARBOR 14 Standard Description & Price List
HULL
The hull is 100% hand laid up fiberglass. Extra reinforcing is provided throughout the hull and cockpit. A high gloss gel coat is used in the hull.
DECK
The deck is 100% hand laid up fiberglass. Wood, foam, and additional fiberglass laminations are applied in load bearing areas. The deck is attached to the hull with a continuous bond, making it watertight and strong.
COCKPIT
Contoured seats comfortably seat six. A stowage box is located at the forward end of the cockpit. This box, combined with the hinged seat locker, provides plenty of space for jackets and lunch.
STANDARD COLOR
The standard color of the hull is white. The deck and cockpit are light gray to minimize glare. The waterline is striped with a narrow red or dark blue stripe. A full range of colors for the hull and waterline are available as options.
HARDWARE
Two bow and two stern mooring cleats are standard. A mast hinge is also standard. The hinge makes raising and lowering the mast extremely easy. Ronstan cam cleats are used for the jib sheets. The mainsheet is trimmed with a Harken combination ratchet block and cam cleat swivel.
KEEL
250 pounds of lead ballast is encased in a fiberglass shell. Five stainless steel keel bolts are used to bolt the fin to the hull. The unique design of the keel offers maximum lift and minimum drag.
RUDDER & TILLER
The rudder is 100% hand laid up fiberglass. The tiller is aluminum.
SPARS & RIGGING
The mast and boom are anodized aluminum. The mast is a large, durable section, and the boom is raised for more comfortable tacking and jibing maneuvers. Vinyl-coated 1 x 19 stainless steel wire with turnbuckles is used for the standing rigging. A roller furling system is provided for the jib stay. Colored lines are provided for easy identification of the lines.
SAILS
The standard sails are white dacron. Colored sails are also available. The jib comes standard with a roller furling system, and the main is equipped with lazy jacks for easy stowing of the main. The main also has reef points for heavy air sailing.
CRUISING AMENITIES
Sails, a roller furler for the jib, lazy jacks for the main, and bow and stern mooring cleats are standard.
